What an amazing wedding day it was! Callie and Jon are a fun loving couple who were filled with laughter and smiles throughout their entire wedding day! We had so much fun filming their wedding. The church was amazing, the weather was perfect, and what more can you say about Blue Harbor Resort other than "the perfect location for a beachfront wedding! This resort is the best Sheboygan wedding location, hands down! It made for an amazing backdrop for Callie and Jon's wedding video!

Venue: Blue Harbor Resort

About an hour and a half away from me is the beautiful city of Milwaukee. The waterfront hosts a variety of backdrops for some epic wedding photos! It's one of the best things about Wisconsin Photography. You can find fields, woods, and a major metropolis all within an hour of each other! Allie and Tyler found me online when they were searching for wedding photographers and love that I throw my own "artistic style" on some of the photos to create something out of a fairy tale. So as I started the day I knew I wanted to try some different things, I never knew it would turn out to be THIS AMAZING!

As the nerves were kicking in, both Allie and Tyler took a little time for themselves to reflect on life but the window at the Hilton Downtown Milwaukee

The guys took a minute to catch a drink in the Hotel Bar. There may have been some golf talks going on too!

With a HUGE smile on her face, Allie OWNED THE ROOM at her ceremony! And this church was absolutely stunning as well!

And we cannot forget the KISS!

At this point it was time for the wedding party photos, which were far from traditional. We shot them in a very dramatic focus, along with some goofy moves from some of the groomsmen.

After some fun with the wedding party I stole Allie and Tyler and with my wife Casey we headed off to the lake front to capture some of the best and more artistic wedding photos I've ever taken!

I took a few of my "typical edits" but then I really started thinking about the dodging and burning that I've been doing with portraits and wondered if I could do it with wedding photos. It was as that point I completely restructured how I want to shoot fully edited photos!

After taking some epic shots we headed back inside to get ready for the grand march and speeches, which were equally as awesome!

On to the first dances! Many tears were shed....

As the night fell upon us, and the wedding dj was going hard on the turntables, I decided one more time to steal Allie and Tyler and head back outside and try something I've never tried before. Long Exposure Portrait photography. With a few attempts I NAILED IT! Oh and also had to get a shot in front of the Milwaukee Art Museum at night. Becuase, well, Milwakee...

Overall probably one of the best weddings, photography wise, that I've shot in a very long time. So many spots in just a short walking distance. The Miller Room is beautiful, and the food was amazing too! Thank you Allie and Tyler for having myself and Casey and letting us be part of such a special day!
